Message from the Director
Due to our community unique culture and legislation, improving community response to medical emergencies can be challenging. The absence of effective emergency response can cause unfavourable outcomes and loss of lives.
Skilled health care professionals and well-trained individuals in the community are key ingredient for achieving our mission at ETC “enhance the recognition and management of any medical emergencies in the community”. The significance of empowering people to recognise and manage medical emergencies themselves was expanded in COVID-19 pandemic, especially with the strained health care system.
ETC can prepare people to respond effectively in medical emergencies. By integrating innovative approach and advanced technology, ETC will increase the number of well-trained individuals in this community, and this will result in better emergency response and subsequently better medical emergencies’ outcomes.
Through ETC’s student centred learning, tailored training and evidence-based training material, free dissemination of emergency response knowledge and skills between participants of different backgrounds is affirmed.
Emergency training center (ETC) is recently established center in Kuwait by Dr Dalal Alhasan. The center is recognised and approved by the AMERICAN SAFETY & HEALTH INSTITUTE (ASHI). ETC focuses on adding knowledge & skills on how to response effectively during medical emergencies for active people in the community. The center runs variety of globally recognised courses for health care professionals and non-health care professionals that are known to augment medical emergencies' outcome. ETC has unique training style, flexible delivery modalities and resultsbased monitoring and evaluation to enhance the effectiveness of our training.
